Picken's Plan

Any one, American or otherwise, should check out Picken's Plan for energy independence if they wish to circumvent a hectic situation that would result from under-preparedness when Americans must inevitably decide to scale back on the use of oil. Even people conscientious about the earth's atmosphere can heed the call that the plan proposes. Just consider how much oil that the United States consumes and pollutes the air with. I am partly critical about the plan, however. I believe that the plan under-recognizes the future of nuclear power. Such a source of inexhaustible power will certainly get harnessed.
